Kenneth Lee Waters was born January 24, 1914 in Monroe, Virginia. He attended Lynchburg College in Virginia, the University of Georgia and he received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1945. It was October 7, 1939, when he married Grace Wilson, daughter of Robert C. Wilson, in Athens, Georgia. Kenneth L. Waters died March 27, 1996. Although the UGA School of Pharmacy was founded in 1903, the first graduations didn't occur until 1908. The school was originally to be housed in Science Hall but in November of 1903 the building burned down. Terrell Hall was constructed on the site of the burned structure and the Pharmacy School moved into that building in June 1905. In 1907 Robert C.
